1. Always Dust And Clean Your CPU And Keyboard Regularly

I must bring to your knowledge that electricity makes you computers a magnet for dust and dirt. Thorough dusting and cleaning should be done on regular basis. Dirt is actually the remote cause of most computer hardware issues. It is from dirt it always escalate to other arising problems.

2. Clean your monitor

3. Organize your cords

Anytime you add a peripheral to your PC, you end up connecting more cords. Even if you decides to go for wireless equipment like Bluetooth, you’ll still need to connect power supplies. Scanner, printer, speakers, camera, microphone and so on, has cord, so you can imagine the number of cords if all these peripheral are connected to your PC. That meant you will definitely have a huge pile of cords behind your computer, and it will look pretty ugly, restrictive, and dangerous too.
One have to separate cords carefully, remove those cords not in use and if possible group the cords.


4. Always Perform Regular Scan To Detect Virus

One of the best way to take care of your PC is to run a virus  detection software regularly.
For those using Microsoft “Window 10” operating system, without installing an antivirus program you can simply activate your “Window Defender”, I observed that Window Defender of Window 10 being very more effective than most free and premium antivirus. If you can’t effort to buy an antivirus you can as well download trusted free ones online.

5. Uninstall any programs that you don’t use

This is for those who have install so many unnecessary programs in their computer. If you install any program intentionally or accidentally which is no longer in use, simply go to your control panel and uninstall it. Or better, go to control panel and see the list of all installed programs and select the those program which you no longer need and uninstall them. This is the actual cause why most computer are very slow to response.

6. Check for updates on all of your programs

After uninstalling, simply run an update of all installed programs, especially those you use frequently. For Microsoft Windows users, you can as well run a Windows Update, why not! Windows Update is free of charge remember.

7. Reinstall or upgrade your operating system

Reinstall your operating system occasionally, especially when severe virus had been detected on many occasions or when system starts misbehaving.
Its is also recommended that you regularly upgrade your operating system. Note, do this only if your PC specifications suits that of the the newly release operating system.
